How to get to Darmstadt by car
Via A 5 or A67
You can reach Darmstadt by car via the A5 or A67 at the motorway interchange Darmstädter Kreuz.
Take the exit Darmstadt Stadtmitteand follow the direction signs to Campus TU Lichtwiese.
Having arrived at TU Lichtwiese turn left at the bus stop. The Mechanical Engineering building will be directly in front of you, right behind the red cogwheel. The offices of the chairmain, business manager and secretary are on the first floor. The machinery hall with additional offices and the seminar room is located on the north-eastern side of the Mechanical Engineering building. See the bird's eye view on the map for more details.
Via A3
Arriving via motorway A3, you take the exit for motorway B45 towards Dieburg.
At Dieburg you will have to change for motorway B26 which will take you to Darmstadt.
Keep left towards TU Lichtwiese when entering the city.
Take a turn left into Petersenstraße at the first intersection.
On the campus turn left at the bus stop, the mechanical engineering building is straight ahead of you, right behind the red cogwheel. The offices of the chairmain, business manager and secretary are on the first floor. Public Transport from Frankfurt Airport
A bus line (Airliner) connects Frankfurt Airport and Darmstadt central station. The Airliner leaves at:
* Terminal 1, Area B, Bus Stop 14
* Directly in front of Terminal 2.
It is a 25 minute ride to Darmstadt central station.

Arrival by public transport
At the central station take bus line K to the terminal stop TU Lichtwiese. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Across from the bus stop you will see the Mechanical Engineering building, right behind the red cogwheel.
Or take local train RE (Regional Express) 65 from central station to the stop TU Lichtwiese. The ride will take about 15 minutes. The Mechanical Engineering building is conveniently located just 5(easy) walking minutes from the train stop. You will directly head for the red cogwheel in front of the buiding.
