Bio
Benjamin Heinzerling is a PhD Student in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) Group at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS), where he is working on entity linking.
As entity linking involves several interdependent subtasks, and entities are involved in several interdependent NLP tasks, Benjamin is especially interested in modeling and exploiting these interdependencies in an efficient manner.
Benjamin's further research interests include applications of entity linking, e.g. in automatic summarization.
Benjamin studied Computational Linguistics and Japanese Studies at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
