Research interests

My research interests are centered around linking texts to knowledge bases:

  • Event and entity linking
  • Lexical-semantic resources and world knowledge
  • Semantic parsing and logic-based representations
  • Knowledge base question answering

In the most recent paper we have analysed how knowledge base relations can be extracted in a context-aware setting.

Biographical information

I hold a Master degree in Computational Linguistics from University of Tübingen and a Master degree in Applied Linguistics from Saint-Petersburg University.

Teaching

  • WS 2015/2016: Foundations of language technology / Grundlagen Intelligenter Systeme (Practice class)
  • WS 2016/2017: Foundations of language technology (Practice class)
  • WS 2017/2018: Foundations of language technology (Practice class)

Student guidance

If you are interested in an exciting thesis topic on mapping natural language to formalized meaning representations, let me know! If you hesitate, take a look at the poster.
